ロボカップジュニア・ジャパンオープン2024名古屋にご参加の皆様
3月23日から24日にかけて、名古屋市国際展示場（ポートメッセなごや）第３展示場にて開催されました「ロボカップジュニア・ジャパンオープン2024名古屋」は全ての競技を無事終了することができました。名古屋において昨年に引き続き全競技を対面形式で実施できたことは感慨深いことでした。
本大会には、186(内海外4)チーム、選手数459(内海外14)名が参加しました。日本中のブロックと海外から多くのチームが参加し、レベルの高い競技大会となりました。3年以上に及んだコロナ禍ではいろいろな活動が制限されてしまいましたが、この1年の活動の成果が本大会で発揮できたことと存じます。残念ながら競技で実力が発揮できなかったチームにおかれましても、ポスターによるプレゼンテーションや他のチームとの交流により得たものは多かったと思います。
ロボカップジュニアの活動は、運営スタッフやメンターの皆様に支えられて成り立っております。本大会にはスタッフ260名、メンター186（重複アリ）名、同伴者188名にご参加頂きました。皆様のご協力のおかげをもちまして、競技を円滑に実施でき、大きな事故もなく大会を実施できましたことに感謝いたします。
開催委員会には名古屋市と愛知県をはじめ多くの団体にご協力頂き、経済産業省と文部科学省、そして人工知能学会とロボット学会及び栢森情報科学振興財団にご後援頂くことできました。また、ご支援いただきましたスポンサー各位のおかげで大会を充実させることができましたことに感謝の意を表します。
最後になりましたが、オランダのアイントホーフェンで開催される RoboCup 2024 に参加されるチームのご活躍を祈念いたします。来年のジャパンオープンも名古屋で開催いたします。来年もロボカップ発祥の地である名古屋でお会いしましょう。

Dear participants of RoboCupJunior Japan Open 2024 Nagoya,
The RoboCupJunior Japan Open 2024 Nagoya was held at the Nagoya International Exhibition Hall (Port Messe Nagoya) on March 23rd and 24th, and all competitions were successfully completed. It was a great honor for us to be able to conduct all the competitions in a face-to-face format in Nagoya, as we did last year.
A total of 186 teams (including 4 from overseas) and 459 players (including 14 from overseas) participated in this competition. The competition was of a high level, with many teams participating from all over Japan and from overseas, and after more than three years of restricted activities due to the COVID-19 disaster, we are pleased to see the results of the past year's activities demonstrated at this competition. Unfortunately, even those teams that were not able to demonstrate their abilities in the competition were able to gain a lot from their poster presentations and interactions with other teams.
The activities of RoboCup Junior are made possible by the support of our management staff and mentors. This year, 260 staff members, 186 mentors, and 188 companions participated in the competition. We would like to thank everyone for their cooperation in making the event run smoothly and without major accidents.
We would also like to thank the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence, the Robotics Society of Japan, and the Kayamori Foundation for the Promotion of Information Science for their support. We would also like to thank our sponsors for their support, which made the conference possible.
Finally, we would like to wish the teams participating in the RoboCup 2024 in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, the best of luck. Next year's Japan Open will also be held in Nagoya. See you again next year in Nagoya, the birthplace of RoboCup.
